FREE Theatre Activity Centre for Kids and their Families

OUTDOOR STAGE Join Captain Braggadocio and special guests for hours of fun every day in Old Market Square. The Outdoor Stage offers kid-friendly entertainment from noon to 6pm daily, coming to life with music, street performers and a host of other wild and wonderful live acts. Admission for all of the amazing entertainment on the Outdoor Stage is by "pass the hat" following the performances with all proceeds going directly to the performers.
HANDS-ON FUN The festival's KIDS FRINGE event and activities area is the place to be for hands-on fun in the Craft Tent, Discovery Tent and Storytelling Tent. You'll also find performing areas for jugglers, acrobats, magic, workshops, petting zoo and more! All of the Kids Fringe activities are FREE to the public.
KIDS VENUE Young Fringers are captivated by fantastic children’s performing companies from all over the world! The Kids Venue is a wonderful way for children to experience fantastic live theatre in a space all their own, and with everything from storytelling to musicals to clowns, there’s something for every little Fringer! All Kids Venue tickets are $5 for children and up to $10 for adults. Group bookings of 10 or more are available. Email fringe@mtc.mb.ca for more information.
