Every year, thousands of Fringers soak in the sights and sounds of Old Market Square, where festival-goers meet to shop, eat and enjoy the incredible acts on the Outdoor Stage.

Participating in the festival as a vendor is a fantastic way to gain exposure for your business. With the Fringe drawing 70-90,000 people to the outdoor site over 12 days, there are plenty of opportunities to engage festival-goers.

NEW FRINGE VENDOR MARKET     Curated by luckygirl POP UP

JULY 20+21 & JULY 27+28

3pm to 9pm daily

The Winnipeg Fringe Theatre Festival is excited to be presenting our 2019 vendor market in partnership with luckygirl POP UP who have been putting together some amazing street market events in the Exchange District for the past six years that include an eclectic and diverse range of local crafts, clothing, jewelry, art and so much more.

The vendor market will once again be located on Arthur Street right across from Old Market Square which is the central hub of the Fringe which includes our Outdoor Stage, KidsFringe, Info Centre, food vendors and two licensed patios.

With luckygirl POP UP we are very excited to be able to feature a new line-up of 22 vendors and products each day the market is open that we know will entice Fringe goers and visitors to come out and check them out both weekends of the festival.

The food vendors' market is a frequent stop for Fringers wanting to grab a bite between shows, for those coming to Old Market Square to enjoy the outdoor entertainment, and for the downtown business crowd on their lunch hour.

The food vendors' market is a great way for food carts, trucks and for local resaurants to access over 90,000 hungry and thirsty Fringers.

The Fringe Festival will take the following into consideration when selecting vendors for the festival:

  • Quality of individual vendor's menu
  • A balanced and interesting overall festival menu
  • Price of menu items
  • Electricity and water requirements
  • Dimensions of individual vendor stalls
  • Appearance of vendor stalls
  • Demonstrated commitment to using environmentally friendly serving products
  • Experience with festivals and events
  • Previous history with the Winnipeg Fringe Festival
