Fun doesn’t have an age limit at the Fringe Festival. Located right beside Old Market Square on Arthur Street between McDermot and Bannatyne avenues, Kids Fringe features plenty of free family-friendly activities to keep young Fringers entertained.

Kids Fringe will be open new hours this year, running from noon until 8 pm each Saturday and Sunday of the festival. In the Kids Fringe area, kids can visit with some friendly critters, show their artistic side with arts and crafts, participate in special performing arts workshops and meet special guests. Public washrooms are available on the Kids Fringe site, and children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Located at Manitoba Theatre for Young People at The Forks, the Kids Venue also offers fun and entertaining plays by performing companies from all over the world that are specially crafted for young families. Kids Venue shows are affordable too, with tickets for children aged 12 and under priced at only $5.
