THE HIPPIE'S GUIDE TO FAR-OUT FRINGING

1. THIS PROGRAM IS YOUR BIBLE. Fringing without a program is like a hippie without love beads.

2. CHOOSE A PLAY. Show descriptions* and the master schedule are your guide to enlightenment. Last-minute program changes are posted on the Info Tower at Old Market Square and at www.winnipegfringe.com.

3. BUY A TICKET. At the door or in advance. See details below.

4. FIND YOUR VENUE. You have all summer to find yourself, but only 11 days to Fringe. Luckily, all venues are within a 10-minute walk of Old Market Square. The site map makes it easy to find your way around and also shows where you can park your VW bus. Set your watch to Official Fringe Time and get there before the show starts or you’ll get hassled by The Man.  

5. ENJOY YOURSELF! Go with the flow. Some shows will blow your mind, others won’t. Don’t be bummed – that’s the charm of true “fringing”. Take in more than one show or chill out at Old Market Square where you can groove to live music and outdoor performances while enjoying some refreshments.

6. Don’t forget the Fringe mantra: No refunds. No exchanges. No latecomers. No tripping!
