ADVANCE TICKET SALES
Take ticket orders, make cash transactions and provide festival information to the public.

9-4-FRINGE HOTLINE
Answering the Fringe phone lines in order to take advance ticket orders and provide patrons with festival information.

FRONT-OF-HOUSE PREPARATION
Includes counting money and tickets, and entering data into the computer system.

HOSPITALITY CENTRE (aka HOSPO)
HOSPO is Fringe Headquarters where volunteers act as Fringe hosts. Duties include greeting media, performers and other volunteers, answering the Fringe phone line, and providing customer service.

HOUSE USHER
Ushers work closely with volunteer team leaders and venue technicians to ensure proper audience behavior and traffic, keep theatres clean between performances, and respond appropriately in a potentially emergency.


VENUE TICKET SELLERS
This position involves handling money and working with the public. Venue ticket volunteers sell tickets at venues and keep track of complimentary tickets for the media & volunteers and provide information to audience members.

INFORMATION TENT / GREEN TEAM
This position involves providing the public with information about the Festival, selling Fringe merchandise and programs, updating the Information Board and keeping an eye on the outdoor site and helping keep our Fringe environmentally friendly. These volunteers should be fairly experienced and knowledgeable about the Festival.

BEVERAGE PAVILIONS
Duties in the beverage pavilions include checking for identification, selling tickets, pouring drinks, cleaning, and balancing ticket sales. Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older. (Those volunteers pouring and serving drinks must attend our Manitoba Tourism Education Council, Liquor Commission training.)

SET-UP AND STRIKE
Teams of volunteers work with the technical staff to set up and take down the outdoor site. This job involves some physical activity and takes place before and after the Festival.

KIDS FRINGE
Work with the Kids Fringe staff to organize crafts, theatre games, face painting and more for kids and families attending the Festival.

ROVER
Can't make up your mind? Be a Rover! Rovers are needed to fill in shifts when another scheduled volunteer is absent.
