Full houses at Viva Las Fringe result in record-breaking year!
Festival hits jackpot with paid attendance of 72,699 (an increase of 774 in 2007).

Late breaking news from Fringe After Dark:

  • The winner of the Harry S. Rintoul Memorial Award is Daniel Thau-Eleff for his play Remember the Night. The award was presented on Sunday, July 27 during Fringe After Dark with host Ken Rudderham. Daniel is the first two-time winner of the Harry Rintoul award.
  • Karaoke Contest winner declared after rousing 'clap-off': 79-year-old Ray Hill won two tickets to Neil Diamond after wowing audiences at the finals of the Karaoke contest on the final Sunday of Viva Las Fringe.
