WHERE & WHEN IS THE FRINGE?

The 2008 Winnipeg Fringe Theatre Festival takes place July 16–27, 2008 in the heart of Winnipeg's historic Exchange District.

The most vibrant and diverse neighbourhood in Winnipeg, the streets of the Exchange District are dotted with restaurants, nightclubs, galleries and shops. The historical buildings with centuries-old architecture make a picturesque backdrop to wander the streets and capture the true feel of where the past meets present. There definitely is no shortage of things to see and do in the Exchange!

The Winnipeg Fringe Theatre Festival consists of approximately 22 venues with the majority of them within a five-minute walk of Old Market Square. At Old Market Square you'll find the Fringe Info and merchandise tent, MTS Outdoor Stage, Kids Fringe, Beverage Pavilions and Vendor's Market.

Fringe Central is located at Manitoba Theatre Centre (174 Market Avenue) and is host to Advance Tickets and the Performer's Hospitality Centre.
