Accessibility | Tourist info
Visit our Info Tent at Old Market Square or the Visitor Centre at Royal MTC to get help from knowledgeable volunteers. Volunteers are easy to spot in their Fringe t-shirts and are located around Old Market Square and at performance venues. Flag one down, they’re here to help! Or, you can email email@example.com or call the Fringe Hotline at 204 943 7464.
The Fringe strives to make as many of its venues as possible accessible by wheelchair. However, due to the temporary nature of many of the venues, it is difficult to have 100% wheelchair accessbility. Visit the VENUE MAP to find out which venues are accessible for wheelchair users and those with mobility impairments.
To facilitate easy access, wheelchair patrons are asked to check in at the venue 30 minutes before showtime.
Indoor venues are wheelchair accessible EXCEPT for venues 5, 14, 15, 23 & 28.

One of North America's most colourful and cosmopolitan neighbourhoods, THE EXCHANGE DISTRICT offers Winnipeg's finest cultural, dining and retail amenities. The 30-block district showcases North America's most extensive collection of turn-of-the-20th-century architecture, and is home to the city's unrivalled arts community.
Explore the city, starting with breakfast in the French Quarter, followed by a walking tour of The Forks or The Exchange with lunch at a place where furs were traded hundreds of years ago. Whether it’s your first time in the city or you’ve lived here all your life, let TOURISM WINNIPEG help you discover and rediscover Winnipeg.
The Exchange District is home to a number of wonderful restaurants. If you're on the move and looking for a bite to eat, try one of these area restaurants. Of course, we heartily recommend visiting our food vendors and beverage patios at Old Market Square. That way, you can satisfy your hunger (and thirst) while enjoying live entertainment in a festival atmosphere!
