"Hearing that song for the first time stopped me dead in my tracks and I wondered how this person I had never met knew the contents of my heart."

Long-time Fringe reviewer and first-time performer Sonya Ballantyne can recall three instances where she was close to ending her life: at age 13, at age 22, and most recently at age 37. Each time, something stopped her and that something was her obsession with the Irish band U2, specifically Bono.

But how can a Catholic white man from Dublin know the heart of a Cree girl from the Rez?
